The DEA Museum Archive has been steadily growing since the opening of the Museum in 1999. We continue to expand and add artifacts to the collection. The archives’ has artifacts relating to the history of drugs and drug law enforcement. The archive has more than 2000 objects from old patent medicine bottles to more modern drug concealment containers. The collection includes items large and small. Many are not currently on public displaybut will be included in future exhibits. The archive also has 5000 images from the 1800s to the present. Presently, a library collection database is being built.

Museum Services
We currently offer limited research services and picture duplication. Turn around time expected is 3-4 weeks. An appointment is required for any type of service.

Archive Donations
The DEA Museum Archive welcomes any donations. We are looking for donations of artifacts that deal with the history of drugs and drug law enforcement. All donations are tax deductible.
