Drugs: Costs & Consequences opens in Mobile, AL

On February 3, 2017, DEA’s traveling exhibit, Drugs: Costs & Consequences, opened at the Gulf Coast Exploreum Science Center. Located in in Mobile, Alabama, the Exploreum hosted over 200 school children at the opening event.

Gulf Coast region residents and visitors can experience a powerful interactive exploration of the effects of drugs on both individuals and society. Visitors will have the opportunity to learn about the history and the current science behind drug law enforcement, drug prevention, and drug treatment specific to Mobile, Alabama and the surrounding area communities.

Federal, state, and local officials were in attendance.

Museum, DEA, DEA Foundation, and local officials cut the ribbon to open the exhibit.

The exhibit will be at the Gulf Coast Exploreum Science Center through September 3, 2017.
